Outline

Overview

Accredited by Mental Health First Aid England, this course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to confidently support mental health in the workplace and effectively guide a person towards the right mental health support.

For a team to work at their best, creating an inclusive environment to support their wellbeing is crucial. When people feel their mental health is supported at work, they are more productive. This helps organisations thrive.

The 2-day Mental Health First Aid training gives people the knowledge and skills to spot the signs of a person experiencing poor mental health, the confidence to start a conversation, and the tools to signpost to appropriate support.

By providing your Mental Health First Aiders with the right learning tools and support, we can help you create workplace cultures that build mentally healthy, high-performing, and productive teams.

Reviews

Well done Sarah
“This was a brilliant service, Sarah was great. Everything was broken down into bite sized pieces which helped us all to understand the processes. Our well being was her priority at all times, which was most appreciated. I would recommend this course albeit a dark subject at times but I can honestly say I learned a lot and it was most enjoyable on such a difficult subject. This course teaches and also changed my mind about mental health especially on how to approach it. Also the lunch and refreshments are great. Well done Sarah.”

Need a different date?

Need to train a lot of people?

In addition to our public scheduled courses, we also offer the option of on-demand private training that’s exclusive to your organisation.

This can provide a particularly convenient and cost-effective solution if you have a large number of staff members to train.

And it’s also tremendously flexible.

Since on-demand courses only have your delegates attending, we can customise them to be specific to the policies and processes of your organisation, and tailor course lengths and depths to suit your particular needs. Likewise, we can combine material from several existing courses, develop fully bespoke content, or combine multiple courses into full programmes of training.

And we can deliver this training whenever and wherever is best for you; in-house at your venue, at one of our training venues, somewhere else entirely, online, or any combination of these.

To find out more about our delivery options, please contact us to arrange an informal chat with one of our friendly and down-to-earth training instructors.

Need something different?

To better balance your required depth of learning with your time and budget constraints, we offer a number of different length courses covering the same material. Likewise, we also offer training covering a range of other management-related topic areas.
