Sarah Loates
About Me
Hi there! I’m Sarah, Founding Director and HR/Training Consultant at Loates.
A proud alumna of the University of Derby, my love affair with HR started during my studies and I went on to work in HR both internally and externally for a range of sectors. My experience includes advising SMEs as an HR consultant at Cooper Parry and leading the HR service for a heavily unionised E.ON UK.
After many years of dreaming about running my own business, I finally took the leap and set up Loates HR Consultancy in 2011. I soon realised that many of the issues my clients were facing could’ve been ‘nipped in the bud’ by up-skilling managers and boosting confidence. And so, Loates Management Training was born!
I continue to be an active practitioner in my field, delivering hands-on, strategic HR support and management training on a regular basis.
My vision for the future of Loates is to further grow the team and expand into HR recruitment, something on which we are already building a strong foundation and reputation.
