Informative and very useful

The training was a mixture of learning material, case studies and example activities.
I found this course very helpful for my day to day duties within my role, it gave me a better understanding of how to approach and deal with any such issues which may arise in the workplace and has given me the confidence to handle them efficiently.
Sarah Loates (the course trainer) gave us as a group opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and gave sound advice on the course topic.
I would certainly recommend Loates Management Training to others.
Thank you

The training was brilliant

The training was brilliant – took away a lot of information. Tell Sarah she scored 5 star all areas – polite, professional, knowledgeable and I wouldn’t change a thing

We love meeting all our clients face-to-face and getting to strut our stuff in the classroom with our whiteboards, tech, fab lunches, copious amounts of coffee and biscuits and lots of chatter. And we've got great in-house training facilities, all based at a historically interesting and beautifully located World Heritage site.

However, due to all that Covid-19 malarkey we've also become rather good at delivering our training online. Our virtual courses still have the discussions and exercises that we would have had in the classroom,  just slightly adapted and tailored to meet the online environment. These online sessions offer outstanding levels of flexibility, cost effectiveness, and efficient use of employee time.

So, even though we're now resuming our usual classroom based training post-lockdown, we've decided to keep offering online delivery as an option for all our courses.

Each approach has different pros and cons, so we're happy to deliver in whichever format works best for you.

Likewise, we know that training is a cost both in terms of time and money, so we also offer all our courses in a range of lengths, so that you can better match the level of investment to your needs.

Our two hour courses will give you a great overview. You will get the chance to learn the the key concepts as well as some ever practical applications of the learning back in the workplace. Our half day courses will expand on this with additional opportunities for discussion and exercises. For a deeper dive into the topic, choose our full day courses, with case studies and group work to share best practice.

As ever, all of our courses have a pragmatic approach, regardless of length. Whether you are attending a bite-sized two hour session or the full day, you will leave with some practical tips on how to implement the ideas back in your workplace. This, combined with some pre and post course learning opportunities means that you can be reassured that whatever session you choose you will have moved your knowledge and skills further.

Customisation Options

The management training courses and programmes listed here on our website are just a starting point to give you some idea of the kinds of things we can do. We can also work with you to fully align our existing course content with your company processes and objectives, or even come up with entirely new courses. We all about flexibility here, so if you'd like programmes with more courses, repeating programmes, hybrid online/classroom programmes, or something even more bespoke, just let us know.

We don't see our goal as simply delivering training, but rather as effecting real meaningful change within your business. Since a number of our trainers also work within our sister brand Loates HR Consultancy, we're used to working with our clients to help practically deliver the things we talk about during our training sessions in actual real-world scenarios. And we can help you with that too.

So, we can also supplement our training with followup support and mentoring from experienced practitioners to ensure that your course delegates are able to successfully apply their new skills and knowledge once they return to the workplace.
